A thin narrow slicer good for delicate work with very little flex, except the tip which thins out to a point. It makes it great for destemming or deseeding peppers. Both the spine and choil area are fully rounded and polished. The handle is octagonal and square measuring 7/8" across. Yellowheart caps a handle body made of African mahogany. The blade is 1/2" wide by 5 1/2" long AEL-L stainless steel. Good edge retention combined with ease of sharpening make this my current go to kitchen steel. Comes with a hand stitched and dyed 7/8 oz vegetable tanned leather.
BLADE: Hand wash immediately after use with mild dish soap and warm water, dry with clean towel for best life.
HANDLE: It is recommended to re-wax the handle every 4-6 weeks to protect the wood from early aging.
LEATHER: Rub with a leather finish oil to maintain proper leather conditioning.
