A very lightweight, thin slicer, ground thin at the edge and slightly convexed bevels make this a perfect vegetable/meat prep knife. Fully rounded, polished spine and finger choil make the blade safe and comfortable to grip. The satin hand rubbed stainless steel blade is well balanced by the natural hardwood handle comprised of a Wenge bolster and sycamore body. The handle is sealed with an oil finish and polished off with a beeswax polish. The hidden tang design reduces weight and makes for a clean blade to handle transition. Comes with a hand stitched and dyed 7/8 oz vegetable tanned leather.
BLADE: Hand wash immediately after use with mild dish soap and warm water, dry with clean towel for best life.
HANDLE: It is recommended to re-wax the handle every 4-6 weeks to protect the wood from early aging.
LEATHER: Rub with a leather finish oil to maintain proper leather conditioning.
