A well-balanced utility kitchen knife, with a double hollow ground 5" stainless steel blade. The blade is very sturdy with little flex, the spine is .110 in width and narrows towards the tip to help keep it thin. The handle is 5/8" across near the blade and tapers to 3/4" at the butt, while being uniform in height along the entire handle. The handle is comprised of a Wenge bolster, redheart spacer and Ipe body, all natural hardwoods, finished with oil and beeswax finish. The balance is near the front of the handle and makes the overall feel of the knife lighter than it's weight would suggest. The spine and choil area are fully rounded and polished, as always the only thing sharp is the edge. Comes with a hand stitched and dyed 7/8 oz vegetable tanned leather.


BLADE: Hand wash immediately after use with mild dish soap and warm water, dry with clean towel for best life.

HANDLE: It is recommended to re-wax the handle every 4-6 weeks to protect the wood from early aging.

LEATHER: Rub with a leather finish oil to maintain proper leather conditioning.
