A stout, all-purpose, hidden tang paring knife having an upswept edge with a straight spine. The center of balance is closer to mid-handle, making the blade feel light and agile. The blade has a flat grind with a slight convex edge ground to .010", the spine is at .110" making for a stiffer blade, with some flex at the tip due to the taper ground in to the blade. This knife is paired with a natural hardwood handle composed of an African mahogany bolster and purpleheart body. Comes with a hand stitched and dyed 7/8 oz vegetable tanned leather.
BLADE: Hand wash immediately after use with mild dish soap and warm water, dry with clean towel for best life.
HANDLE: It is recommended to re-wax the handle every 4-6 weeks to protect the wood from early aging.
LEATHER: Rub with a leather finish oil to maintain proper leather conditioning.
